Autocad postscript support

Message 1 of 3. Postscript Support. The help files tell me that a lot of the postscript export setting are controlled by a file named acad. Since I have never been happy with how AutoCAD exports to Postscript, I thought I would take a copy of that file and sit down with a postscript guru, and see if we can do better.

But, an exhaustive search of my computer only finds an acad. Is the help file outdated, perhaps? Or am I missing a file? Message 2 of 3. Message 3 of 3. Thank you very much, I'll give it a go. Post Reply. Can't find what you're looking for? Do you know of any good websites for that kind of review? All I can google are shopping sites which aren't very in-depth. Message 4 of 7. Explore the print-plot discussion area on this server, found under the AutoCAD link.

Message 5 of 7. You don't need to replace the printheads nearly as often. I've used the Canon for 3 years and only replaced one printhead becasue it developed a fault. And I'm not a fan of HP Message 6 of 7. If you plot to a hardware port, PS output is automatic.

If you plot to a file and plan to copy it to a printer, configure for PS output. The PostScript driver supports three types of PostScript.
