The center position is off, removing power from the control and main power circuits of the welder.

The position to the left is for power range 1 which is up to 90 amps output. When operating the welder on a 20 amp branch circuit, select this position. The position to the right is for power range 2 which gives maximum power output. Now Lincoln does offer a v. No on the Hobart Mine has lasted quite a while, though part of that was 6 years in storage while I was living in an apartment But I bought it about and have run lbs of wire through it. Thanks, Jack. My first Reply I too have a Century mig welder. Its been a great machine. I've had mine about the same length of time. From what I have heard Lincoln bought up Century. Consumeables and torches are easy to get parts for but I haven't needed to buy anything else. What are you looking for? Nothing yet but I would like to know what is out there. I'm assuming any of the v models would be classifies as "big". Its funny this topic just came up, but I just recieved a new Sears tool catalog today and they have a amp century Mig in there for That seems like a great deal for a amp mig!

How old morpheous? I dunno They cut some corners to save price. If I had bought a Century I would have added that feature using spring for Lincoln weld pack. The included shielding gas regulator was not adjustable. It came with a bottle bracket that might of worked with 20 cu ft bottle. Yup, I figured there is always a price to pay for not paying the price. Roger, the Sam's Club type Century aren't the same as what Taylord is asking about.
