I would first try to uninstall through Windows Programs and Features. You can find this in Control Panel. If that doesn't work, you could try to reinstall the program, which should reinstall the Uninstall file. The third option would be the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility. If this does remove it, I would still re-install and uninstall as the utility may leave a lot of abandoned files. Was this reply helpful? I am signed into the computer as the administrator and have not changed any policies, that I am aware of. If anyone could help me out as to what I am ment to look at the get this changed so that I can uninstall programs, it would be greatly appreciated. Policy restrictions can be put on an administrator account as well.
Are you having problem with one application removal or with any of them? Try going to the programs menu and inside the specified application folder there would an uninstaller. Most of the applications have an uninstaller present. I tried uninstalling the programs from the applications but it still comes up saying that i do not have permission and to contact my administrator or sign in as the administrator, when I already am.

It starts every time I turn on my computer but does not show up in the start menu or in the list of programs in the windows uninstaller. I also cannot find it in my program files. Somehow my Directx drivers have become corrupted so all attempts to run the game called Zuma results in a crash and power off. Get a cmd line and enter dxdiag to see what version of Directx is installed.
It says 9. Unfortunately Directx is not in the list. I followed instructions to download and run the 9. The install fails because it says a higher version of Directx already is installed.
